2024 Summer course terms and conditions

1. Course Duration: The course will run for two weeks, from August 19th to August 30th, with live online lessons conducted Monday to Friday, each lasting one hour.
2. Access to Resources: Participants will have access to course-specific resources to support their learning. These resources are provided solely for the purpose of the course and cannot be shared or distributed outside of the course.
3. Platform: The course will be conducted on Google Classroom. Participants are required to have a Google account to access the course materials and participate in the lessons.
4. Course Fee: The cost of the course is £195.
5. Cancellation Policy:
5.1. Participants may cancel their enrollment with a minimum of two weeks’ notice before the course start date.
5.2. In the event that a participant is not satisfied with the course within the first two days of the course start date, they may request a cancellation by providing written notice.
5.3. Refunds for cancellations will be issued in full, except for any transaction fees incurred through payment processing (e.g., Stripe fees).
6. Recording of Lessons: Lessons will be recorded and uploaded to Google Classroom for participants to access in case they miss any live sessions.
7. Disclaimer: The course organizer holds no responsibility for the academic outcomes or performance of participants. The course is intended to provide educational support and resources, but individual outcomes may vary based on participants’ efforts and other factors.
8. Expulsion Policy: The course organizer reserves the right to expel any student who exhibits inappropriate behavior or conduct that disrupts the learning environment. In such cases, no refund will be provided.
9. Intellectual Property Rights: All intellectual property rights, including but not limited to course materials, lesson content, and resources provided, belong solely to the course organizer. Participants are prohibited from sharing or distributing any course materials outside of the designated course group without explicit permission from the organizer.
10. Technical Requirements: Participants are required to have access to a device with a microphone for participating in live lessons. While not mandatory, the use of a camera is recommended to enhance engagement and focus during the sessions.
11. Reading of Terms and Conditions: By enrolling in the course, participants agree to abide by these terms and conditions in conjunction with the privacy policy, which can be found on the course organizer’s website.
12. Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms and conditions is subject to the laws of England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.

Terms and Conditions for Year-Long Program
1. Course Duration and Schedule
1.1. The Year-Long Program runs from September to June, with weekly support, lessons, and homework.
1.2. Each lesson is one hour long, and the schedule will be provided upon enrollment.
1.3. Lessons will be conducted online via Google Classroom, requiring students to have a Google account.
2. Resources and Materials
2.1. Students will have access to various resources to support their learning, including exam questions and videos.
2.2. All materials provided are for the enrolled student’s use only and must not be shared outside the course.
3. Enrollment and Payment
3.1. The cost of the program is £225 per month (£200 for early bookings and previous students)
3.2. Payments are processed via Stripe. Upon clicking the desired course link, you will be directed to pay for the first month.
3.3. Subsequent payments will be automatically charged on the first day of each month.
3.4. If payment has not been received by the 7th day of any month, the student will be removed from the course and access will be revoked.
3.5. If students enroll in the middle of the month, they only need to pay for the weeks remaining in that month.
4. Cancellation and Refunds
4.1. Students may cancel their enrollment with a written notice of two weeks.
4.2. If a student is not satisfied with the course within the first two weeks, they may cancel with written notice for a full refund, minus Stripe fees.
4.3. Refunds will not be provided for missed lessons, but recordings will be available.
5. Behavior and Conduct
5.1. Students are expected to maintain appropriate behavior during lessons.
5.2. Any student displaying inappropriate behavior may be expelled from the course without a refund.
6. Intellectual Property
6.1. All content provided in the course, including lessons and materials, is the intellectual property of Better your Maths.
6.2. Students may not share or distribute any course materials outside of the program.
7. Technology Requirements
7.1. Students need a device with at least a microphone for participating in lessons. A camera is recommended for better engagement.
7.2. Ensure that the device and internet connection are reliable to avoid disruptions during lessons.
8. Privacy Policy

9. Liability
Better your Maths does not take responsibility for the academic outcomes of students. The support provided is designed to aid learning, but success depends on the student’s own efforts.
10. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these terms and conditions will be governed by UK law.
