2026 Summer course terms and conditions

1. Course Duration: The course will run for two weeks, from August 17th to August 28th, with live online lessons conducted Monday to Friday, each lasting one hour.

2. Access to Resources: Participants will have access to course-specific resources to support their learning. These resources are provided solely for the purpose of the course and cannot be shared or distributed outside of the course.

3. Platform: The course will be conducted on Google Classroom. Participants are required to have a Google account to access the course materials and participate in the lessons.

4. Course Fee: The cost of the course is £225.

5. Cancellation Policy:

5.1. If, after attending the first two live lessons, a participant feels the course is not suitable, they may request a full refund by contacting Better Your Maths in writing before attending the third live lesson.

5.2. Refunds for cancellations will be issued in full, except for any transaction fees incurred through payment processing (e.g., Stripe fees).

6. Recording of Lessons: Lessons will be recorded and uploaded to Google Classroom for participants to access in case they miss any live sessions.

7. Disclaimer: The course organizer holds no responsibility for the academic outcomes or performance of participants. The course is intended to provide educational support and resources, but individual outcomes may vary based on participants’ efforts and other factors.

8. Expulsion Policy: The course organizer reserves the right to expel any student who exhibits inappropriate behavior or conduct that disrupts the learning environment. In such cases, no refund will be provided.

9. Intellectual Property Rights: All intellectual property rights, including but not limited to course materials, lesson content, and resources provided, belong solely to the course organizer. Participants are prohibited from sharing or distributing any course materials outside of the designated course group without explicit permission from the organizer.

10. Technical Requirements: Participants are required to have access to a device with a microphone and camera for participating in live lessons.

11. Reading of Terms and Conditions: By enrolling in the course, participants agree to abide by these terms and conditions in conjunction with the privacy policy, which can be found on the course organizer’s website.

12. Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms and conditions is subject to the laws of England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.

By enrolling in the 2025 Summer Course, you agree to these terms and conditions.

Terms and Conditions for September/January Programs

These Terms and Conditions apply to the Better Your Maths Year 13 Programs and Accelerated A-Level Maths Program.

1. Program Duration and Schedule

1.1. The programs run from September/January to June and include weekly live lessons, homework, resources and ongoing support.

1.2. Each live lesson is approximately one hour long. The timetable for each program is provided before enrolment and is also available on the relevant program page.

1.3. Live lessons are conducted online via Google Meet. Google Classroom is used for lesson resources, homework, recordings and communication. Students are required to have a Google account.

1.4. Better Your Maths may occasionally need to make reasonable changes to lesson dates or times. Families will be given as much notice as possible if this is necessary.

2. Resources, Recordings and Materials

2.1. Students will have access to resources to support their learning, including lesson recordings, exam questions, homework, videos and other course materials.

2.2. Lesson recordings will normally be uploaded to Google Classroom so students can catch up on missed lessons or revisit previous content.

2.3. All materials and recordings are provided solely for the use of the enrolled student and must not be shared, copied, distributed or made available to anyone outside the programme.

3. Enrolment and Payment

3.1. The monthly fee for the Year 13 Program is £210 per month.

3.2. The monthly fee for the Accelerated A-Level Maths Program is £185 per month from September to December and £210 per month from January to June.

3.3. Payments are processed securely through Stripe. The first payment is made when enrolling in the program.

3.4. After the initial payment, subsequent monthly payments will be charged automatically to the same payment method on the first day of each month.

3.5. If payment has not been received by the 7th day of the month, Better Your Maths reserves the right to suspend the student’s access to lessons, Google Classroom and program resources until payment is received.

3.6. If a student joins part-way through a month, the first payment may be adjusted to reflect the remaining part of that month.

4. Cancellation and Refunds

4.1. There is no long-term commitment. Parents or students may cancel their subscription at any time by contacting Better Your Maths in writing.

4.2. Cancellation prevents future subscription payments. Payments that have already been processed are non-refundable.

4.3. Students have the opportunity to attend a free trial before enrolling, allowing them to experience the program before making their first payment.

4.4. No refunds or reductions will be provided for lessons missed by the student. Lesson recordings and resources will remain available through Google Classroom.

5. Free Trial

5.1. New students may request a free trial before enrolling in a September program.

5.2. No card details or payment are required to attend the free trial.

5.3. A free trial does not create any obligation to enrol in the program afterwards.

5.4. Because the programs are designed for particular levels and, in the case of the Accelerated Program, require students to work at a fast pace, Better Your Maths reserves the right to assess whether a program is suitable for a student before confirming a trial or enrolment.

6. Attendance, Homework and Student Participation

6.1. Students are expected to attend lessons regularly and arrive on time.

6.2. Students are expected to complete the homework and independent work set as part of the program.

6.3. Regular attendance, homework and independent study are important parts of the program. Better Your Maths cannot guarantee a student’s progress where they do not engage consistently with the teaching and work provided.

7. Behaviour and Conduct

7.1. Students are expected to behave appropriately and respectfully during live lessons and when using programme communication channels.

7.2. Better Your Maths reserves the right to remove a student from the program where behaviour seriously or repeatedly disrupts lessons or affects other students.

8. Intellectual Property

8.1. All lesson content, recordings, videos, worksheets, exam-question collections and other materials supplied through the program are the intellectual property of Better Your Maths or are used under the appropriate permissions.

8.2. Students may use these materials for their own personal study but may not share, reproduce, distribute, sell or make them available to others.

8.3. Lesson recordings must not be downloaded, copied, shared or distributed unless Better Your Maths has expressly permitted this.

9. Technology Requirements

9.1. Students require a reliable internet connection and a suitable device with a microphone to participate in live lessons. A camera is strongly recommended for engagement.

9.2. Students are responsible for ensuring that their device, internet connection and Google account are working correctly.

9.3. Better Your Maths cannot be responsible for lessons or parts of lessons missed as a result of technical problems affecting the student’s own device or internet connection.

10. Additional Sessions

10.1. Better Your Maths may provide additional Exam Practice sessions, Masterclasses or other supplementary sessions throughout the academic year at no additional cost to enrolled students.

10.2. The timing, content and frequency of these additional sessions may vary and they do not form part of the guaranteed weekly timetable.

11. Privacy

These Terms and Conditions should be read together with the Better Your Maths Privacy Policy available on the website.

12. Academic Outcomes

12.1. Better Your Maths provides structured teaching, resources, exam practice and support designed to help students improve their understanding and exam performance.

12.2. Academic progress and examination results depend on many factors, including attendance, homework, independent study, previous knowledge and the student’s own effort.

12.3. Better Your Maths therefore cannot guarantee any particular grade, predicted grade or examination result.

13. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
