Who is this for?

Students who:

  • achieved a Grade 8 or 9 at GCSE Maths
  • are strong and confident in Maths and ready to work at a fast pace
  • need or want to complete the full A-Level Maths course in one year
  • are studying Further Maths, or have another reason for completing A-Level Maths early
  • are prepared to work consistently between lessons and keep up with the accelerated pace

Why this program works

Completing A-Level Maths in one year requires a fast pace, but also the right structure, regular practice and consistent support.

The program is designed so students can move quickly through the syllabus without sacrificing understanding:

Structured weekly teaching to complete the full Year 12 course by Christmas and Year 13 by June.

Exam questions every week so students apply what they are learning from the start.

Year 12 practice continues throughout Year 13, so earlier content stays fresh while students move forward.

Regular homework, support and accountability to make sure students keep up with the accelerated pace.

TESTIMONIALS

Arancha is just not an excellent teacher but a brilliant person who goes above and beyond her call for duty as a Maths tutor.

We have had few tutors (for different subjects), but no-one has ever maintained communication the way Arancha does. She kept us informed about our child’s progress and motivated our son. Most importantly the personal attention and touches (for example sending “All the best” cards, “motivating text messages” etc.) that Arancha brings is second to none.

With her help our son gained the confidence to strive for an A* in maths. We would definitely recommend hiring Arancha (Better Your Maths) as a Maths tutor to anyone who is looking to improve their child’s maths.

DJ (parent)

Ms. Arancha has been very effective in helping me over A Level Maths.

I have jumped from Bs in Year 12 to an A* in the final exams. Not only did she provide me with many lessons for learning and homework to aid with practice, but she also was very open and supportive when I had any questions in a topic – doing her best to always maintain communication with students and parents.

I couldn’t be where I am in maths without her support and for this, I highly recommend Ms. Arancha as a tutor to anyone wishing to succeed in A-Level Maths.

FAQ

1. What is the duration of the accelerated program?

The program runs from September to June. Students complete the full Year 12 A-Level Maths course between September and December, before moving straight into Year 13 from January to June.

2. How often are the lessons held?

Lessons are held twice a week between September and December and three times a week from January to June with each session lasting one hour. This consistent schedule helps students stay on track and continually reinforce their learning.

3. Does the program cover the full A-Level Maths syllabus?

Yes. The full Year 12 Pure, Statistics and Mechanics content is covered by Christmas, followed by the full Year 13 course from January to June.

4. Are the lessons live or pre-recorded?

All lessons are live, allowing for real-time interaction and personalised support. Students can ask questions and get immediate feedback during the sessions.

5. What happens if my child misses a lesson?

If a lesson is missed, it will be recorded and uploaded to Google Classroom, allowing your child to catch up at their own convenience.

6. How is homework assigned and checked?

Homework is set regularly through Google Classroom and students are expected to complete and mark it before the next lesson. I monitor homework and provide feedback to help students keep up with the accelerated pace.

7. What resources are provided with the course?

Students receive access to a variety of resources, including exam questions and video tutorials (more than 300 videos covering all A-Level maths content). These materials are designed to support their learning and exam preparation.

8. Is there any support outside of lessons?

Yes. Students can ask questions via Google Classroom or WhatsApp whenever they get stuck. Additional Exam Practice sessions and Masterclasses are also offered throughout the year at no extra cost.

9. How can I enroll my child in the course?

The first step is to request a free trial. I’ll ask for a few details about your child’s current Maths level to make sure the Accelerated Programme is suitable for them. If it’s a good fit, I’ll arrange their free trial and send you the enrolment information afterwards.

10. Can I get a refund?

You can cancel your subscription at any time to avoid future payments. As students have the opportunity to attend a free trial before enrolling, payments already made are non-refundable.

11. What equipment does my child need for the course?

Your child will need a device with internet access, a microphone and preferably a camera. Live lessons are held online via Google Meet, with resources, homework and recordings available through Google Classroom. Students therefore need a Google account.

12. Is the Accelerated Program suitable for every student?

No. Because the full A-Level Maths course is completed in one academic year, the program moves at a fast pace. It is designed for strong Maths students, typically with a Grade 8 or 9 at GCSE, who are prepared to work consistently between lessons. I check suitability before arranging a free trial.

13. Can my child try the programme before enrolling?

Yes. Your child can join a free trial before you decide whether to enrol. There are no card details required and no commitment to continue. Simply complete the trial request form and I’ll be in touch.

14. Can my child join if they are studying Further Maths?

Yes. The Accelerated Program is particularly suitable for strong Maths students who need to complete A-Level Maths in one year because they are also studying Further Maths.

Please note that the program covers A-Level Maths only; Further Maths content is not taught as part of the program.
