Students sit a one-hour paper under timed conditions, then spend the next hour going through it, seeing exactly where marks are gained, lost, and how better exam technique can make a difference.

Success in A-Level Maths is not just about knowing methods, it’s about familiarity with exam conditions, time management, and understanding how marks are awarded. This event helps your child:

How It Works

1️⃣ Exam-Style Sitting (60 mins)
Students complete a past-paper section live, under timed, quiet conditions. Just like the real exam.

2️⃣ Live Review & Walkthrough (~60 mins)
We go through the paper together:

how each question earns marks
strategic approaches
common mistakes
alternative methods that save time

OPTIONAL: PERSONALISED MARKING & FEEDBACK (£15)

Knowing which questions you got wrong is useful. Understanding why you lost marks, and how to avoid losing them again, is even better.

During the free walkthrough, students mark their own papers with my guidance. But it’s not always easy to spot your own mistakes or understand exactly why marks have been lost.

For an additional £15, I’ll personally review your child’s work and provide:

A fully marked paper, with comments explaining mistakes, missing steps and where marks have been lost.
An individual performance report, highlighting strengths, weaknesses and areas where exam technique needs improving.
Three specific priorities to focus on before their next exam.

This gives students a much clearer picture of their performance and, most importantly, what they need to work on to improve.
